2023年7月15日上午，澳门新莆京4996app官网“英语+兴趣“夏令营闭营仪式在东密歇根联合工程学院301路演厅举行。澳门新莆京4996app官网院长冯丽、党委副书记伍红艺、副院长蔡成龙及相关负责老师、营员、学生家长参加闭营仪式。
本次闭营仪式在回顾营员的夏令营学习生活的视频中拉开序幕，随后，学员进行成果展演：英文合唱、英文朗诵、彩绘斗笠走秀、机械舞、航海旗语、军事表演……全程“高能”。学员们精彩纷呈的演出，赢得了全场的热烈欢呼。
司佩颖、余宇两位学员代表发言。司佩颖用流利的英语讲述夏令营里的点点滴滴，读到了有趣的故事，学会了动听英文歌曲，体验到了中华传统魅力的和东南亚文化的风情，结识了很多朋友，这些将汇成人生中最美好的回忆。余宇表示，在夏令营里度过了一个有意义的假期，也希望未来在英语学习的道路上不断前进。夏令营教师代表戴斯蕾发言，分享了自己与学员的点点滴滴，看到孩子成长，自己倍感欣慰。
蔡成龙副院长发表闭营致辞。他强调了兴趣的重要性，将兴趣转化为特长，成为自身优势。同时，他对学员们寄予厚望，希望今后学员们学会认真学习，独立自主，团结友爱，学会感恩。

闭营仪式活动还有回顾了学员们一周的精彩瞬间，学员为父母送上自己亲手书写的英文感谢信、颁发结业证书等环节。
2023 Wonderland English Summer Camp Concludes with Heartwarming Closing Ceremony
The much-celebrated Wonderland English Summer Camp, which provided a platform for linguistic growth and cultural exchange, reached its heartwarming conclusion with a memorable closing ceremony on July 15, 2023. The event, held at Conference Room 301 of Eastern Michigan Joint College of Engineering, provided a platform for participants to reflect what they had learned over the past seven days.
The guests present were: Ms. Feng Li, Dean of College of International Studies, Ms. Wu Hongyi, Deputy Secretary of College of International Studies, Mr. Cai Chenlong, Vice Dean of College of International Studies, and teachers of Wonderland Summer Camp, kids and their family members.
The ceremony commenced with video watching. Two video clips packed with memorable moments of participants over the past seven days. The closing ceremony featured captivating performances that showcased the talent and achievements of the teenagers.
Flowing the performances, heartwarming testimonials were shared by camp participants and instructors.
“I read interesting stories, learned to sing English songs, and explored the charm of traditional Chinese culture and the Southeast Asian culture. It's the best memory I have.” said Si Peiying, a camper who participated Wonderland Summer Camp for 3 years.
“I spent a meaningful vacation in the summer camp, and I hope that I will continue to advance on the road of English learning in the future “said Yu Yu, one of the campers of Wonderland Summer Camp.
“I am so delightful to see the development and achievement of our kids after one-week’s learning” said Ms. Dai Silei, one of the instructors of Wonderland Summer Camp.
“It is critical to cultivate hobbies and interests so that they can develop into individual skills and strengths…...I hope that our participants should value this chance to be more self-driven, grateful, and independent.” said Mr. Cai Chenlong in his closing remarks.
Finally, Ms. Feng Li announced the closure of the summer camp.
In addition, an award ceremony was held to honor every participant for their excellent performance. The participants wrote a letter in English to express their gratitude to parent’s love, care, and concern for giving them such a good upbringing at the end of the ceremony.
